The Oscars has found its next host in the form of perennial TV comedy staple Conan O'Brien, making him the first podcast host to do so. The post Conan O’Brien Will Host the 97th Oscars appeared first on Nerdist .
O'Brien will take over the Academy Awards hosting duties from comedian Jimmy Kimmel, who had the gig for the last two years.
"America demanded it and now it's happening: Taco Bell's new Cheesy Chalupa Supreme. In other news, I'm hosting the Oscars," O'Brien said.
The former late-night host will succeed Jimmy Kimmel, an Academy Awards regular.
